Our team

The founders of EXTENS met when Turenne acquired Capsule Technologie, with Arnaud Houette as President. The two worked closely for four years ensuring the success of the business, which they grew strongly before selling it in 2012 to a US private equity fund.

Quentin Jacomet
Quentin JacometFounder
Quentin Jacomet has ten years’ experience in growth capital with IDF Capital, FSI Régions (formerly Avenir Entreprises) and most recently Turenne Capital Partenaires.
He has taken part in around 30 investments, notably in healthcare (tele-assistance manufacturer Solem, Capsule in hospital software) and software / data (NP6 / Mailperformance, Socio, Conexance), with a strong involvement in portfolio company development.
A graduate of EM Lyon, Quentin also holds a Master’s degree in company law.
Arnaud Houette

Arnaud Houette was President of Capsule (www.capsuletech.fr), hospital data collection software, from 2004 to 2012, during which time he grew revenue from €1m to €40m (+60% p.a.), of which 80% in the USA, where the company became the leading solution provider (1,300 hospitals equipped) notably through partnership deals with Philips, GE, Siemens, etc.
An engineering graduate from AgroParisTech INA-PG, Arnaud spent 12 years with Air Liquide from 1989 to 2000, notably in South East Asia, before joining Capsule in 2000.

Dominique Mercier is familiar with the world of health, medical devices and hospital informatics. He had a career in management in the healthcare industry, at W.L. Gore, Zimmer, Medtronic, Smith Medical, Maquet and Dräger Group, as President of France and Southern Europe (for twelve years). In charge of Brussels – Lisbon – Jerusalem area, he contributed closely to the international reorganisation of Dräger Group.
In 2013, he participated in an LBO into Bow Medical, French leader in anesthesia resuscitation software, in order to develop the company in France and internationally.
He has a key role in identifying new opportunities and knowledge of the market or mastery of sales processes.
Dominique has been on the Board of Capsule Technology from 2008 to 2012 and has been with Extens and Must since 2017.
Cedric Berger

Cedric Berger has been working for 12 years in Private Equity structures. In 2013, he founded ArchiMed SAS, specialised in investing in Healthcare SMEs (across Europe).
Prior to this, Cedric was Head of NCI’s Venture Capital division (2011-2013) and Investment Manager at UI Gestion (2007-2011) and 3i (2006-2007).
Before starting his career in the world of Finance, his business was Product Strategy and Marketing, which he practiced at Schneider Electric and GEC Alsthom.
Cedric holds an MBA from Oxford University (2005) and a Master of Sciences (engineering degree) from ESIEE-Paris (1996).
Valentine Deramecourt

Valentine Deramecourt has a double experience as an investor and Administrative and Financial Director.
She started her career at Sycomore Corporate / Covent Partners, an investment company, for 6 years. She then joined the Altavia communication group (ETI international) for 5 years as CFO France.
Valentine is a graduate of Dauphine and a Master in Financial Engineering from EM Lyon.
Aymeline Lecomte

Aymeline Lecomte worked for 4 years in audit at Ernst & Young. She then joined the finance department of Société Générale Group within the Consolidation department.
Aymeline is a graduate of HEC Paris.
Federico Miotto

Federico Miotto has two years of cumulative experience in M&A and PE.
Federico is Italian, a graduate of ESSEC and the University of Trento (Italy).
Claire du Beux
Claire du BeuxOffice Manager
Claire du Beux joined Extens in May 2019, after working in publishing.
She ensures the proper functioning of the office and assists the administrative and financial management. She is also in charge of communication and press relations.
Claire is a graduate of a Research Master from the Catholic Institute of Paris.
